Buffalo Adventures

When you're here - you're part of the herd

More than any other animal, buffalo symbolize the American west...

The state of Colorado is a big proponent of agritourism. We’re happy about that because we enjoy sharing our love of buffalo – the monarch of the American plains – with others. Colorado Buffalo Adventures is not open to the public but you’re welcome to join us for private events that celebrate, educate and entertain with a focus on buffalo.

Colorado Buffalo Adventures is located on a working Colorado buffalo ranch where you can attend and host private gatherings surrounded by boundless beauty and rustic charm. We are not open to the public but you’re welcome to buy tickets to one of our private ranch events or contact us about hosting your wedding or other private gathering.

Let your dreams unfold as you enjoy close-up views of our buffalo herd or tour the grounds in our hay wagon. Our ranch features a wide array of unique photo ops that provide a timeless backdrop for life’s precious moments.

Buffalo Adventures & Encounters

Are you traveling to Colorado and interested in an up-close interaction with buffalo minus the safety hazards you'll encounter in places like Yellowstone and Custer State Park?
Join us for a Buffalo Adventure, an exciting dinner theater show, or a Buffalo Encounter. Both events include a tour where you can feed and even take a selfie with the herd. 2020 tickets are on sale now!

Weddings & Other Private Gatherings

Include buffalo as guests at your wedding or other private event! Every guest will leave with lifelong memories of their experience. Our ranch is family owned and operated and when you’re here, you'll be treated like a treasured member of our clan.

People often ask how we got started raising buffalo. Funny story! We were suburbanites and our kids wanted horses. While searching for a horse property, we fell down the proverbial rabbit hole and wound up with buffalo.
Since then, life has been an adventure. Now we want to share our adventure with you.
